What they selected ones chose to select is what they mean to sell - and what I've seen there is the same as what I saw here while looking for that table and couch: lots and lots of faux XVIII or XIX century, and very little or nearly nothing of anything even moderately modern. I presume the nostalgia, although temporal instead of spatial, and a refuge from the future shock do sell well. Or those who would buy more modern furniture dislike the idea that modern means "grey metal with glass".

What do you mean old? Not being plantation nostalgic is old? :)
