He sets huge aids policies but we don't require he have aids or be an expert on it... He can set policy in a number of areas and not have specific or firsthand knowledge of any of them... Do we require him to be jewish before giving $ or selling arms to Israel? What about immigration policy? Does he have to be an immigrant? Oops, he wouldn't qualify, would he?
We already have a shining example of one who knows everything one needs to know to understand that stem cell research is bad bad bad when done by tax money, but OK when done by private businesses.
