>>yeah. Let see what everyone thinks after the first time a teacher caps an unarmed student - which, of course, is going to happen sooner or later...or a student takes the gun away from a teacher and starts shooting with it. Just a matter of time before it happens. Once it does I'll be sure to point to this post.

The remaining question is whether they'll choose to go alone or not.

But it's just stress being poured from one vessel into another. The teachers are unhappy because they are facing an impossible task and unmotivated kids, who have come with little or no work ethic and intellectual curiosity to start with. Because they saw what's going on, who's making the money, who's appreciated and who works for peanuts, if any. They have about zero motivation (talking about the lower end of the scale here), because they see their parent(s) lot in life has very little to do with what effort is invested, and much more with the corporate whims and bottom lines. Your parents' job is gone, your school is falling apart, your neighborhood is becoming a gangland, and the houses are getting repossessed.

I'm not saying that all of this is happening all over the place. I can't even define "the place". But pieces of this are here and there... and there'll be a vortex of several in one place, and I just don't want to be near when it breaks. Columbine was one. I don't see anything that's changed for the better since that would stop the next one. Actually, I'd count Virginia Tech.

Balkans, eh? Count them.
