It was the Beatles that I followed. I was driving, on my way to work, when I heard the news of John Lennon's death.

I was also driving to work when I heard that. Apparently I was not paying close attention to the radio because at first I thought it was Yoko who had been shot. Which I'm sure we can all agree would have been better ;-(
