To the best of my knowledge. I think actually Heraclitus said something very similar way, way back, but Isaac said it pithier (if there is such a word - if not, then more pithily, or with more pithiness?).

Besides I know for a fact that Melissa Etheridge is a huge SF fan. (Actually, I just made that up to bolster my side).
