If this was the case, that these guys were against an abortion for purely medical reasons, then why would they be pushing the ban on abortions in cases when the abortion was the way to save the woman's life? Also, why are they pushing the "abstinence only" as the only true and tried (*) method to be evangelized to the public, to the point where some forms of aid (AIDS related, IIRC) to some countries were contingent on their taking upon themselves to advertise abstinence and not tell their patients or anyone else about any other method. Also, why are these guys instructing their member pharmacists to refuse to sell contraception, specially Plan B?

I agree that abortion is the worst form of contraception. Guard rails are the worst way to prevent a vehicle from going off the road - there are so many other things that can be done before it comes to that. Should we remove them, then?
