>At the risk of seeming provocative: many of us vaccinate our children against various undesirable consequences. Many of us have started or are about to start vaccinating teenage girls against a particular virus that is strongly associated with cervical cancer and which seems to be sexually transmitted. I believe that pregnancy is sexually transmitted too. Join the dots. ;-)
Hmm, my daughter is getting the shots. Are you suggesting an anti-pregnancy shot? How long would it last? I'm all for it. The problem is, the shots that exist now are problematic - too many side effects. Although new IUDs are safer than the older ones, they are still not recommended for young women.
Many women would LOVE a 12 month or 5 year shot!
