Thanks for your help on the Command Buttons. It worked fined. As for the buffered tables, I am a bit confused. There seem to be 3 places where I can set the buffer mode.

BufferMode in the Properties of Data tab of the PM

Open DBF, Browse Table, Table Properties and in the Work Area Properties dialog there is an option to Enable Data Buffering

Tools Options, then choose the Data tab and enable the Buffering there, set as default.

This last option seem to be the better one. Is my assumption correct?
