DBA: This is for a
Database Analyst or a
Database Administrator? Or
Dorset Business Awards?
>>
>>In our branch it's the admin meaning that's the most common, but I've often found "Zip Bang Enterprises DBA ZBEnter", where DBA stands for "doing business as", i.e. just like Prince was DBA "artist formerly known as Prince".

>I've always thought of DBA as 'Database Architect'.
I've only heard of admins... and that was in 2000 or so. After that, there were no admins, analysts, architects or archaeologists, only deebeeays.
