What is your default printer and VFP default printer at the time the program is run? May be you can just set up the Generic text driver and use it?

Also there is a big catch with our approach. Depending on the printer the resulting pages may be different. Also if you add PDF to the mix you may get incorrect results as well.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
