>We don't edit in grids, so I need a way to get a group of records and then display each record/field value on a form. The values can be updated back to the table. How can I do this?

You can use any of the scenarios here.

1. Double click on the record in a grid to bring a new form to edit.

2. Same form, Grid at the top / editing fields at the bottom (or at the top or anywhere).

Or you can use a ListBox if the number of records is small. At my former place of work one developer was fond of ListBoxes and developed a special popup menu class to display for Listboxes for editing/inserting/deleting records.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
