I have a user, who upgraded their desktop to a laptop PC. The laptop is brand new Toshiba, dual core, 2G RAM, 100G HDD, etc...

Fox is taking almost 2 mins. to startup and all app queries are horribly slow.

It is connecting via the network cable to the host, the same cable that was there for the desktop.

Any ideas on why the new machine is so much slower.
