Here I do not think you are correct, sorry to disagree.

She was offended or felt diminished by the notion that I don't use a debugger without knowing that of course I have bugs but that I use print outs in the code; she was sarcastic and rude because of her own insecurities. She should be secure enough in her own life to know she is equal to me.

I responded kindly, without calling her names; I told her how I work, she should be mature enough to apologize for her rudeness. Let us see if she can. Be well.
