Yes, you are correct: when using SSIS package with Table Access Mode to copy one VFP table to another VFP table, deleted records appear as not deleted.

I am not defending the explanation: I neither see the real scenario when one is using SSIS to copy one VFP table to another VFP table, nor I can imagine the purpose of copying VFP table to another database system without explicitly saying that deleted records are needed.


So, what is your opinion or explanation?
