>>Could someone run a simple test for me? Now that you're on the UT reading messages, jump over to
www.cnn.com (using the same instance of IE and the same tab) and sit on the home page for a couple of minutes. What I am seeing is that some of the UT code to update the dashboard continues to run, but then when it executes - it seems to be on a 2 minute timer these days - it causes an error since it tries to refer to something in the DOM that no longer exists. Not sure if this happens in any other browsers. I think it continues to occur, even if I move to other pages on CNN and then back to the home page. And I know it will continue to occur every two minutes for as long as I cared to let it (3 or 4 times in my testing). I imagine it would happen on other sites, too, but just haven't tested it. Of course, you'll need to turn on the feature in IE that lets errors be displayed.

The bug just occurs because the UT dashboard update code is on a timer at 100 seconds. So if you type
www.cnn.com into your address bar - so that you use the same tab, but move directly to CNN - then it should occur (or it does for me) at about 100 seconds or 120 seconds or so. Then it occurs again and again at that interval. I supplying Michel with some troubleshooting info, but no solution, yet.
