I didn't notice much speed difference, but I believe that with IE7 and VS2008 I noticed less pages refreshes, so it looked like pages in IE7 were not doing PostBack. Also one page behaved correctly in my environment but produced errors in .NET 2.0 environment, so I had to turn callback property off.

Other than that I didn't notice much of a difference.
