>>I'm curious to know what the turnout/attendance was for the FoxPro session at all the various DevDays. I heard from a co-worker that John Peterson had 8 people at the one in Philly. I'm interested to see how popularity rates across the country if anyone else is willing to share? Thanks!

>There were about 25 people in the VFP session in Houston out of several hundred. About the same number of people in the VC++ and J++ sessions. VB and Interdev were the big ones. In the VFP session most were VFP programmers but there was ONE admitted VB programmer.

>It was good to hear EVERY speaker (except Bill Gates) mention VFP positively. Bill forgot that VFP was part of VS 6.0 during his (Well rehersed) opening address. It reminded me of an old movie were the Dictator was giving a speech. While off camera, the armed guards were standing around with the applause signs.

He really didn't mention much of any product by name...there was a VB reference..but he mostly said "Visual Studio"...and the fact that he didn't say VFP is not a bad sign...it just means he didn't say it.
