>I have a memory blackout. I know that VFP has a command to show a "short" path, so that C:\blah\blah\blahblah\blah\myfile.ext is shown as something like C:\bla\...\myfile.ext. But I can't remember the name of this function. Help is appreciated.
*DisplayPath(cFilename, nMaxLength)

lcFileName = "C:\blah\blah\blahblah\blah\myfile.ext"
? DisplayPath(lcFilename, 25)
