Being from the old school, I have a difficult time knowing what you mean by click on the map of the thread .... followed by View.

The only way i have found to make UT usefull is to click on the little icons to the right of the "reply" and hold the shift key down. This will open another instance of IE and then when i click on the threads in that instance, it will populate the original with the thread. Very clunky, but only way i have found to make it useful to me.
