true, but the tools are still around. The script editor comes with Office (MSE.EXE in Office XP, MSE7.EXE in Office 2003 and Office 2007). If you don't insist on IE, I'd suggest to use FireFox with the FireBug plugin. That's a much better tool: http://getfirebug.com
