>First of all, I think Gustav is a lousy name for a hurricane. Who thought this one up? Gustav sounds like a pianist or an architect, not a hurricane.

Whenever I heart the name "Gustav," I think of Tom Lehrer's song "Alma."

>Ill named or not, Gustav is bearing down on the Gulf of Mexico. Comparisons are being made to Katrina, which hit New Orleans almost exactly three years ago.

I find it ironic (and perhaps, justice served--on the administration and the party, not the potential hurricane victims) that this hurricane may disrupt coverage of the Republican National Convention.
