You actually watch these things? You've got a stronger stomach than me. I recorded last night's program so I can watch Bill Clinton's speech, and will record tonight's to watch Obama's. But that's it. The rituals, balloons, etc. don't do anything for me.

The Clintons could persuade people not to do that by saying we know you're disappointed but the best thing you can do as a good Democrat is vote for Obama. So far they have conspicuously declined to say any such thing. The closest was what Hillary said at the rally -- a rally celebrating her own campaign -- several days after Obama locked up the nomination, and that was pretty tepid. I just don't think either Bill or Hillary has it in their DNA to lose graciously.
