I am trying to remember all I went through getting some dynamic properites to work properly. I think we need the addition of quotes.

Try
="(Name = 'B')"

If I remember correctly, without the quotes, the expression is evaluated at initiation and with the quotes it is evaluated each time the grid refreshes.
(Be sure to use different quotes around your whole expression than you do around your 'B'
