Thank you very much. What would be the difference in pronunciation between "connais" and "connai"?
>"simplement". The "s" at the end of "connais" is silent. It does change the pronunciation of the verb however, "connais" doesn't pronunce the same way as "connai".

>>When I have an on-line Voice Engine to pronouce the phrase you suggested I hear sound of "s" somewhere between "connais" and "simplement". Is it the "s" in the word "connais" or the first "s" in the "simplement"?
