>Not Sunday exactly; "Yom Shabbat" is Saturday. Sunday is "Yom Rishon" (Day One). Part of the problem is that the Jewish day starts at sundown so it seems like the day before to our calendar. Too, when you really think about it, numbers are names of a sort. I don't suppose that calling it "Monday" is really any different than calling it "Yom Sheni" (day two).
