>>>Seriously speaking I am not sure if Sarah Palin will really help McCain win the elections but she will make the process very interesting (to say the least).
>>
>>Obviously, she is unknown on national level but she did a good job in Alaska. Frankly, if choosing between current 4 president and VP candidates, I would prefer voting her for President. However, if she gets 8(4!) years to get prepared in VP position then it could be even better.

>I think she had you and me at hello <g>. But the point of choosing a VP candidate is to make him/her help you get more votes. I am not sure she will give McCain more votes from the other side. You see, liberal women will not vote for a conservative woman, IMO. Especially a conservative woman with an anti-abortion views. This is very important issue for liberal women. So, the only votes that Palin will bring is solid conservatives. But they are already in McCain's camp. Even those who complain that he is not conservative enough will not vote for Obama. So, in my view, adding Palin to the ticket could be a zero gain for McCain (kind of rhymes <g>). But I like her and will watch the debates now with even more interest.

Not every person is a political animal, and it is even truer for women than men. There are many non-political people voting for a personality. She looks great, and she got a resume. It will be Ok for many people; just compare her with Joe Biden.
