You could access mmAppBase.UserMgr.UserPk or mmAppBase.UserMgr.UserID

There is also some good info for you to look at in the Dev Guide under "Application Security" the very last item labeled "Integrating with Windows Security" It isn't exactly what you are trying to do but it shows how to get a reference to a user object.
