FWIW, one of the few positive things I can find to say about GWB is that he does appear to be color-blind in the right way.

Also worth pointing out that Clinton had a female Secretary of State.

As for the Supreme Court, it was, of course, LBJ who appointed the first black Justice, Thurgood Marshall.
