I don't think so. I think he would have been ostracized for picking the obvious candidate that would bring the most votes.

There were just as many things I liked about Hillary as those that I really detested (and I detested a lot). I would have been more at ease with her winning the Presidency than Obama...

I still think Obama will win hands down. I only hope he is deserving of the praise you heap on him. I really hope so. It will good for this country if it is so.
