>John, let's just declare a truce and stop talking about politics. I sent a flurry of angry messages to you last night, you sent a flurry back, and I sent another flurry half an hour ago. It makes me feel rotten. I am apparently getting too old for flame wars because they leave me depressed. I do think you're one of the good guys, as I said, and I enjoyed talking to you on the phone earlier this summer. I'm sure we'll be fine if we just agree to stay 5000 miles away from political discussions <g>. Deal?
They were 'heated' but really, they were entertaining as well. One thing I think the two of you
may not be seeing is that the flame wars, while entertaining and disconcerting at the same time, really do cause people to think on their choices. I would still prefer to see a discussion of the
issues and
policies though. I guess that won't happen anytime soon here at least, let alone in the media.
One thing for John H, with all his support of McCain and viscerating of Obama, he has touched on some of the issues in the race.
