>>>It was a joke.

>>As one ethnic saying goes, every joke has a fraction of a joke. Depending on listener.

>I just don't see how implying that Obama is using 'inspiration' to buy the presidency is so offensive... I must be missing something...

>As to the "Hitler" comments, they were not a joke. The readers must have missed my earlier comments that it was coming from the school and not me? I made a statement in previous posts that I did not think I should post it but that is was going around the highschools and could damage Obama and Mike stated I should post it because they could handle it. Obviously, I was right and he was wrong. I posted the statements and styles that were similar because that is the discussion in the schools.

>I am not implying Obama will be a Hitler. No one knows what good or bad Obama will do and we can only assume he will strive to do good. Besides, any comparison on the actions Hitler took later is just plain ridiculous. I am repeating what is going around the schools which is that the style employed during the election is reminicent of Hitler's early speeches. They indeed are. Obama is an unknown with no history to draw on to base a decision on with any comfort level. His speeches draw on the emotion of the crowd, not the intellect. That is a result of comparing historically the speeches of candidates around the world and how important it is to look at the policies, issues, positions, and history of the candidate before making a decision.

>Here it is in plain speak: The high schoolers are referring to Obama as the 'black hitler.' I am not making that up and that was what concerned me so much. It is all the high schools around here. Obama was trying to the attract the youth and doing a good job of it but some of the youth are turning...

Everything is offensive two months before elections, because it is just one winner spot.
