It actually began as a little menu, but when FP2.0 came out with all of those cool controls, it changed a lot. However Alert wasn't done until FP2.6... when we just had nothing else to do but hone the code and make it as nice as possible. Had a special VGA font to make it look special.

I'm still annoyed with the limitations of messagebox(), specially the way it... never mind, I blogged that already. Set rant off.
