The disconnection is in my opinion that the girl, and the groom, weren't really given much choice. I am guessing, of course, but and I can imagine which choices they may have had available, and I have listed them in appropriate space proportional to their probable desirability for the young couple.

When I am convinced that the Palin family has promised full support to any possible choice that the couple may have made, and that there was no peer pressure, financial pressure, political pressure nor friendly visits by a pastor, then I may agree that my probability proportions were wrong.
