Oh, I only have to wait for a sec or 10. After having entered my passwd, I go to fetch another coffee. It takes a long time - minutes.
When I get back - and I do not hurry - I'm logged in and the disk has become kind of quiescent
If I'm impatient - starting up outlook or so - is slow - sooooo slow
