>Let's be real here. The president, while he does call the shots, selects a group of advisors that he consults on just about every issue. If the candidate can chose good advisors (and balanced), we have a better shot at a president who will be good for this country. As long as the advisors are knowledgeable and the president weighs all of the advice, we should be ok. A president who only listens to one side or goes it alone is trouble.
Which is why I never bought the story about the good king with evil advisers...if he's a king, he picks his advisers; ignorance is a fault.
