I had hoped this might create a "wrapper" effect to eliminate the problems opening the driver directly in VFP. The results in VFP are exactly as if I had connected directly using the Handbase driver....i.e. I get an table conflict error when editing, and the dreaded C005 error upon trying to add.

>>Does anyone have successful experience using HanDbase ODBC driver (Palm database program) with VFP? I can get read access to tables from my Palm, but either get update errors when I try to edit or, worse yet, C005 errors when I try to add a record. The worst part is that everything works great from Access. The vendor doesn't seem to know anything about VFP and likely tested the ODBC driver to specifically work with Access.

I have successfully used the hbdao.dll included in the HB++ package. It´s not ODBC but can it´s easy to use. I have asked if the hbdao.dll can be used freely, without having to buy the product, and the answer was yes.
