It is interesting to see how John Harvey and Mike Beane and you too, John, are changing the song, PDQ. I don't believe any of you got "the party line from on high" (I give too much credit to your integrity and intelligence for that...) but something has happened. What was it? Could it be the republican convention, which is going on right now? If so, kudos to John McCain's message of unity, which would show his influence over the republican right. One no less than Arisototle said that all extremes are bad; that "virtue" is somewhere in the middle. I agree that usually it is so. Glad to see the times changing. Or is it only an election ploy?
