The problem is that the media jumps on the hard-left and the hard-right commentary, blogs, op-eds, and junk sites. Good entertainment I guess. Each one waits for someone to be the first and it doesn't matter who it is - once it is out there in a somewhat acceptable media, everyone grabs hold of it (like the Edwards article in the Enquirer). The real problem is that the junk racket out there evolves into the mainstream media and while there may be some truth to it on both sides, it is mostly JUNK or not worthy of anyone's attention...
