>Hmm...not sure. My particular WCF app is self hosted (not under IIS). I know I had problems with my app. because I had IIS running locally, which was already listening on port 80. Shutting down IIS resolved that issue (I could have changed ports as well).

I get the same error from the WCF hosted on the IIS server (HostingForAsp.Net) and also when I just run it locally in the development web server. I just change the endpoint address when trying each method. I think the local port is different each time, so I have to copy it from the WCF service once it is running. I am trying to do three months of reading in a day.
