I am a Mainstream/Literary writer, which means my books are hard as hell to sell. But a really good literary novel will outsell a lot of the other genres if you are lucky.
Absolutely. Just ask Mitch Albom. If you write well and have something to say, you can sell a lot of books. It's unfortunate that the reverse is also true.
