Hi Stan.

>I have just purchased a 64 bit Vista Home Premium PC and am moving my VFP9 SP2 apps to it. I have run into a problem with SDT (sd62b).
>
>The old PC is a Windows XP box that had a C: drive and a D: drive. SDT and all the VFP9 source and data is on the D: drive. The applications were developed with the VMP2005 framework which is also on the D: drive.

>What I have done is just move the D: drive from the Windows XP box to the 63 bit Vista Home Premium box where it became the F: drive. Now when I try to open the SDT, the dialog opens momentarily and then closes again. Or more recently, the Stonefield Database Explorer dialog opens but is totally unresponsive and hangs VFP9. VFP9 by the way was installed in the conventional way on the C: drive of the new Vista box.

I'm using Vista and didn't need to do anything special to use SDT on it, nor have I heard anything like this from anyone else, so it must be some environmental thing. I can't think of why the Database Explorer would hang up, so it sounds like you're going to have to trace the code and find out where the hang-up occurs.
