There's over 160 deads already with the first 2 hurricanes and they haven't finish looking for all the victims.

To add to this question, why does a hurricane that does minor damage in the South West US get all kinds of media coverage, while the worst floods in the history of the midwest this year was lucky to get a quick blurb on the national news. Hey, lives were lost here. Lifestyles were lost here. Properties, homes, lives were ruined here.

Where is the national coverage of the FEMA clusterfudge that is going on up here? Where are the celebrities donating big bucks to get their face on TV? The biggest thing we got were some noble ex-Hawkeye pro football players donating.

Isn't it important that several months have gone by, several people are homeless, yet several temporary housing trailers are STILL sitting in the FEMA storage lot uninhabited. I know this because I drive past it every day.

But hey, who cares about hillbillies. We are nothing but pig farmers and dishonest government subsidy collectors anyway. Not as important as people in New Orleans and Florida.
