I had met Ken Levy at LA Fox (www.lafox.org) and also Orange County Fox (www.ocfox.org) user groups back in the late 80's. I then saw him do a demo of the dispatch system you mentioned. He had very long hair. (Since I was prior Marine Corps, I'd threaten Ken that I was going to get some scissors and cut his hair.) I was on active duty at Port Hueneme for the Navy because of Operation Desert Shield (Saddam) and came up from the base to the event, which I think was in Woodland Hills, CA, at Blue Cross' building, some kind of D-Day Fair.

I was so amazed that a 25-year old "kid" could do so many things with FoxPro. He had a touch screen and over 800 windows on it, according to what he told us. A microphone that looked like what a dispatcher would use was also there. All of this cool stuff and the guy that did it, was only 25 years old? How?

The very elderly man who had earlier introduced Ken before his demo, later complemented Ken and asked the rest of us what we were doing at age 25.

>Hmm, really? Haha, I know Ken very well. First time I saw him, he was a long haired kid doing a demo of a Computer Aided Dispatch program he had written, and he was doing drag and drop in Foxpro. Last time I had any communication with him, he was editing my WASP case study!
