Thanks to all for your suggestions. I've fixed it. This is what I did.
1. Toggle it on, and when I took the default file location, I had the problems mentioned. This was because there was no file at specified location.
2. Pointing to a correct file location, fixed the error.
3. Reloaded fox, changed it to not use a resource file. (Back to riginal setting.) Voila! No Errors!
But the question still arises. I have since the install of VFP9 years! ago, I had it set not to use a resource file. Why today, September 5th, would it suddenly decide it needs one and the one it has is invalid!
Well as long as things are working, I shouldn't complain too much. I probably angered the computer gods. <vbg>
