I am creating a deployment for a project and want to deploy the core MM .NET assemblies to the GAC. When I build my VS 2008 deployment project I get the following error:
Assembly 'OakLeaf.MM2008.WinForms.dll' must have a shared name to be installed globally
Am I missing an update. When I check the .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration manager on my development machine, I can see the assemby in the GAC.
