Hi June,

not sure if Guineu is up to your needs already, but with Guineu you can turn FoxPro functions into functions that can be called from stored procedures. The FoxPro code can access DBF files, use SEEK, SCAN, REPLACE, etc. There are some issues with that approach that you would need to check with your administrator. Because Guineu would access DBF files in the context of the SQL server, it must be granted a number of permissions that administrator might not give you.

Alternatively, you could create a VFP COM server as an EXE and then call it from your stored procedures. See http://www32.brinkster.com/srisamp/sqlArticles/article_31.htm for an introduction.
