What do you expect John? Who has the most knowledge about a certain (cultural/political/history) topic? Apart from making the mistake that unknowledgable <> ignorance, how are you envisioning to test that? Wikipedia will give us both answers to the questions of the other. And why do you think you're the average american?

And how are we going to measure ignorance? I'd measure that as making bold statements or making decisions while not knowing the facts or consequences about what you're talking about (so called vocal ignorance)? do you agree?

If you agree with that, we cannot test eachother with new statments and arguments as we both we'd very carefull with what we are going to say. So you might take already done statements here on the UT and debate the ignorance level in that. Each debate can have new arguments to it. Also who is going to be the referee? Do we need to have a balanced panel of americans and europeans? Left and right wing?

btw, I'd prefer to discuss european vs american culture first.
