Check the powerpoint slides downloads on my website (listed below). One is from George Goley's '98 MS TechEd session "Building the Best Database App using Visual Studio" and the other is the Defense Department's Logistic system JFAST.

These should prove very useful in selling VFP. Also Advisor.com has an article online by Malcolm Rubel on JFAST. I'd recommend that too.
