Yeah, I know.

If a conservative columnist made a disparaging comment about Obama based on his race, that commentator would be fired the next day the same way Don Imus was when he said something stupid about a basketball team.

Tracy, what it is is a manifestation of moral relativism. This is why our liberal friends don't see the hypocracy because they tend not to have absolute standards. To a conservative or libertarian when something is wrong, such as judging a woman by her gender, it's ALWAYS wrong. To a liberal, unless you're a liberal, judging a woman on a discriminatory basis is OK. Moral relativism.

If you're a minority you can't possibly compete so we have to have programs like race-based college admissions. More discrimination and more moral relativism.

I say, keep it up, idiots. Keep insulting working mothers; yeah, that'll secure Obama votes. They tried this same tactic against Cheney's lesbian daughter in 2004 thinking it was showing some sort of hypocracy on the part of the GOP. It ended up making Cheney look better as an understanding father and blew up in their faces.

What was it P.J.O'Rourke said (and I'm paraphrasing)? Republicans lie and it's easy to tell because they act differently when wrong but it's difficult to tell with Democrats because they just don't know right from wrong.

Proof positive in the current level of discourse.

>What has infuriated me about all of this is not the media's attacks on her and her family (she is fair game but her daughter is not), but rather the attacks on her from the so called 'feminists.' I guess a woman succeeding in a man's world is only acceptable if she is a liberal Democrat. Very disheartening.
