There was a very mean bug in Vista when trying to copy and/or delete to/from network drives ( and i think usb keys as well ), but that was "fixed" by some patch prior to SP1 release. FYI, MS never recognized this as a bug, even though i saw guys that posted screenshots of copy commands "364 days left..." for just a few gigs :-)
I had Vista Ultimate installed in many machines, but after suffering from daily bsods and what not, most have been upgraded to XP Pro, one to Ubuntu 8 and one to OSX Leopard.
